Made for smaller faces

Wondering if Isla sunglasses will fit you? Our frames are designed for smaller faces, so if you struggle with oversized sunglasses, youā€™re in the right place.

All our sunglasses are 125mm (4.9 inches) wide from hinge to hinge, while the average hinge to hinge width is 135mm (5.3 inches).

If you have an average wide face, Isla is still a great choice if you prefer a more secure fitting pair of sunglasses than standard models.

How to check your face width:

  1. Stand in front of a mirror.
  2. Hold a ruler or tape measure across your face, just above your cheekbones.
  3. Measure the distance between your temples (outer edge of each eye socket).
  4. If itā€™s between ~115mm and 135mm (4.5 - 5.3 inches), Isla sunglasses will fit perfectly.

All our sunglasses are made about 10% narrower than standard sunglasses, making them a ā€˜one size fits allā€™ for smaller faces! If standard size sunglasses usually feel too wide, our sunglasses will generally fit just right.
